The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
