The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Warriors Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a exciting storyline showcasing divine entities, fiends, and dark forces growing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.

The Combat-Oriented Party Introduced

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will branch out from the main group to undertake their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

With a large ensemble, it was evident from the beginning that having everyone at a single group would be unworkable.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before branching into three distinct groups: Fighters, Strategists, and Explorers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for adventurers who are drawn to a classically intense combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander might seem out of place, but the developments of episode 3 make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the party has a clear idea where to go next after a violent initial meeting with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose passing started the narrative’s action—manipulated the foes for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and stealing all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The antagonist then paid off his debts and escaped to a fortified location in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and best friend, desires vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure is familiar with the region and advises that it is a dangerous place.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to kill the fighter and instead freed him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as important members in the influential clan could help the party reach places they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, Teor swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now follow him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are known criminals.
  • The strong figure and Wicander turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the remote area in quest for the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

From the recent installment’s post-show segment, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Questers and Strategists tables.

Fans can look forward to discovering which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
